The exhibition EVERY body, EVERY mind: Honoring the 35th Anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act , serves as a reflection point for viewers to consider the country’s progress in creating greater accessibility as well as understanding societal barriers that still exist.

By reversing the centuries-long history of exclusion, shifting public policy in 1973, and ultimately changing legislation, advocates continue to fight for greater visibility and accessibility with the hope of creating a more just and inclusive society for every body and every mind.

Featuring artwork from students from the Henry Viscardi School, and contemporary artists honoring the unique beauty of each individual and explore themes such as leadership in the disability justice movement, legislation, educational models, access to higher education, medical obstacles, representation, inclusion, and the role art can play in creating holistic experiences for all.
